I'm a little confused on the differences between "waivers" and free agent blind bidding.
In my league, the only way that an owner can replace a player on their roster, for whatever reason, is through a free agent blind bidding system. By free agent, I mean a player who is currently not on another franchise's roster. In my league, there are no first come/first serve claims.
Each week, during a specified time period, usually Tuesday thru Friday, each team enters bids for players that they want to add to their roster. At the end of the time period, which ever team has the highest bid, is awarded the free agent, (subject to league roster restrictions).
These bids are blind, meaning that the bidding team will not know what any other team has bid. Nor will they even know if there are any other bids for that player.
Once a player is cut from a roster, he cannot be bid on until the beginning of the next free agent blind bidding period.
Now, can anyone explain to me how to set this up for my league?
